An Ode To A Traveler!

AN ODE TO A TRAVELER!

I shall go to China, the young man did say;

I'll visit the Wall, not the one in DC.
For this wall is large, to keep bad guys away,
And their wall, it worked, as well we can see.

I shall visit China, the young man did say;
I'll visit the beautiful and ignore what is bad!
Don't ask me, please, ... how long I shall stay,
For my days I not know, and that is so sad.


I will travel to China, the young man did say,
And visit the high places and travel the low.
Eat bird-nest soup and fish meat each day,
And drink their water, hang high, and hang low!

I will stay in China, the young man did say,
And make many new friends where ever I go!
One among billions, ... walk on clouds every day,
And sleep in its coolness, bask in its glow.


I will work in China, the young man did say,
Relive Marco Polo, which I can't really do.
Record all adventures,
with tons of photos each day
Post them on my web page and do what is due.


For I could not do this just 10 years ago,
So I will relish my journey, no, ... appointment I say,
I,ll begin this right now and shall not be slow,
For youtube is calling and my webpage each day.
